We are Senjin and Danin Alimanović — brothers, riders, and founders of Adventure Bosnia Experience. We have spent years riding the mountains, gravel roads and remote valleys of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, and we know this terrain the way most people know their own street. We specialise in maxi enduro tours built specifically for big adventure bikes — Africa Twin, GS, KTM Adventure — because we ride the same machines as our guests and understand exactly what they ask of you on mixed terrain.
These are not races and they are not extreme expeditions. Our routes are planned for real off-road riding with safety, flow and enjoyment — adjusted daily to the pace and ability of the group, with alternative options always in hand. Most of our guests are experienced riders in their 40s and 50s, looking for a genuine adventure without unnecessary risk. They ride all day, eat well, and finish each evening around a table with people they didn't know at breakfast. They come back. That tells us everything we need to know.

Tours run from 2 to 10 riders. We prefer groups of 4 or more. If you are travelling solo and looking to join an existing group, get in touch and we'll let you know what's scheduled.
Yes, always. Senjin or Danin leads every ride. We do not offer self-guided tours.
Every tour is planned individually based on group size, duration, terrain difficulty and accommodation. There is no fixed catalogue price. Contact us and we build it from there.
Yes, the route can be changed due the bad weather conditions, or rider’s inability to complete a current route.
All of enduro, and maxi enduro bikes with 50/50 tyres are suitable for our routes.
A valid licence for your bike is required. Experience level is discussed before booking and the route is planned accordingly. First-time offroad riders are welcome — they just don't start on Vranica.
We don’t currently offer bike rentals.
We organise motorcycle pickup and mechanical support at extra cost. We have reliable contacts across all areas we ride and have handled everything from punctures to full recovery mid-tour.
Full riding gear is required — helmet, jacket, trousers, boots, gloves. Protective eyewear under your helmet is strongly recommended on trail. Add quality rain gear and warm layers for altitude sections. A full gear checklist is provided after booking.
Available at extra cost, arranged in advance. Riding without heavy panniers on technical descents like Vranica makes a real difference. Worth discussing when we plan your tour.
Mountain huts, village guesthouses, pensions and hotels depending on the route. Shared rooms are standard in remote locations. Private rooms in towns (On demand). All accommodation is discussed and agreed before booking.
Yes. We strongly recommend comprehensive cover that includes adventure motorcycle riding and medical evacuation. Standard travel insurance often excludes offroad. Check your policy specifically before you travel.

Landmine contamination from the 1990s war exists in certain areas — but not on our routes. Every trail we ride is a known, used path. Warning signs are in place where relevant and we brief riders verbally before any area that requires attention. The rule is simple: stay on the trail.
No, BiH is not Schengen. You need a valid passport or ID (EU citizens), vehicle registration, driving licence, and a Green Card for insurance. Non-EU riders should check visa requirements for their nationality before travelling.
Bosnian Convertible Mark (KM), pegged to the Euro at roughly 1.96 KM to 1 EUR. Cash is strongly preferred — in remote areas it is the only option. Bring enough KM before heading into the mountains. Cards work in Sarajevo and Mostar.
