This four-day route traverses Bosnia and Herzegovina’s southern spine, starting in the Olympic Mountains above Sarajevo and ending in the Neretva Valley. It begins on the Igman wartime road towards Bjelašnica and Lukomir before heading south into Prenj, one of the country’s most significant mountain ranges. This section passes through the Tisovica canyon and includes an overnight stay at Boračko jezero. The second day takes you across Ruište to Velež, following Austro-Hungarian stone roads past abandoned fortresses. Descending into Mostar, you’ll spend a night in the old city. The route then pushes north through Drežnica and Čvrsnica to Ramsko jezero. Here, you’ll climb to a viewpoint offering simultaneous views of Rama and Jablanica lakes before sleeping in Konjic. The final day retraces your steps through the Rakitnica canyon to Sarajevo, the same canyon featured on the Wild Core tour but ridden in the opposite direction.

Senjin and Danin have ridden every mountain on this site more times than they can count. If it’s on the map, they know a better way through it.
