About Tour

This compact two-day tour takes you through Sarajevo, avoiding hotels outside the city. It’s perfect for riders wanting to familiarise themselves with Bosnian terrain before embarking on a full expedition. The first day departs Sarajevo via the Misoča canyon, climbs through the forests of Ozren, crosses Romanija on woodland trails and descends through the Prača canyon before returning to the city by evening. The second day follows the Igman wartime road to Bjelašnica, crosses to Visočica and descends to Ljuta. Then it climbs the lower slopes of Treskavica – the same mountain featured in Day 3 of the Wild Core tour – before returning via a trail through Bjelašnica and Trnovo. Both days begin and end in Sarajevo, with all worthwhile riding within two hours of the old town.
