The Green Interior – Day 7
Day 7 crosses the Bitovnja plateau to Kreševo for lunch and farewells. Seven days of Bosnian offroad is a lot to swallow. They came back for more ten months later.

Day 6 goes from Cincar over Vranica to Fojnica — horses, a handsaw, and the technical highlight of the tour. Best attempted dry. We did not attempt it dry.
Day 5 runs from Mostar to the Cincar mountain hut. Dry at the start, raining by Drežnica, relentless by Cincar. We told them to keep the rain gear on. They didn’t.
Day 4 takes us back to Zelengora, then across the Morine plateau to Mostar. David gets his mountain. The dogs get David’s boot. The French get their trout.
Day 3 climbs out of Lukomir onto Treskavica and Zelengora — the two places I look forward to most on the whole route. Francisco’s eye, a Gas Gas in free flight, and Senjin’s first beer of the trip.
Day 2 takes us west. The canyon roads get narrower. Someone is already asking about tomorrow’s trail difficulty — which means they haven’t learned anything yet, or they’ve learned exactly the right thing.
Day 1 takes us out of Sarajevo and into the Misoča canyon. Francisco goes down ten minutes in. Everyone learns what buying the first round means.
